Halloween Costume Preview!

We wanted to see what the kids Halloween costumes looked like and couldn't wait until next week, they were really cute! Bobby calls Gracie "Bug" and I call Wiley "Monkey" so I guess it fits them perfect to be a ladybug and a monkey!

Our Fall Pictures

The kids were WILD this weekend, I am not sure what was going on! On Saturday we had company for a little while, and Bobby Mom and I worked in the boys room trying to get everything ready for the baby in a couple of weeks. Sunday, Mom took the kids to the Rabbits Foot to get them some new shoes and Gracie some new hairbows (I think between Mom and I we could spend all of our money at this place!) Bobby and I watched The Bucket List, which is a great movie! We also took Fall pictures Sunday evening. Here are a few of our favorites! We had a good weekend!

More Pumpkin Fun!

Today, the kids painted the small pumpkins they picked out, well Gracie painted hers and then decided to paint Gage and Wileys too. Wiley is still convinced all pumpkins are balls, and wants to throw them! She did a great job, they look very good!

Pumpkin Fun!

On Tuesday Bobby carved the kids pumpkins they picked out at the pumpkin patch this past weekend. Gracie even took all the inside junk out of hers. Gracie wanted a ladybug, and he made Wiley a monkey, since that is what they are going to be for Halloween. They turned out so cute! Daddy did a good job! Lately Wiley has been giving Gracie hugs and kisses a hundred times a day, I try to catch it every single time, its so cute!! Tuesday night we put candles in the pumpkins and took pictures by them in our Halloween Jammies!

The Prettiest Sunflower

I love these 3 pictures of Gracie looking at the sunflowers. Sometimes the best pictures you take are the ones where nobody knows you are taking a picture at all. We were on our way out from the pumpkin patch and Gracie took to this one sunflower, which we picked and brought home!

A Day At Maple Lane Farms

In the beginning, the plan was Mom was taking the kids to the pumpkin patch to get a pumpkin, this is something we have done every year since Gracies first Halloween. I was a little bit upset that I wasn't going to be able to go this year, I am big on traditions and an even bigger picture taker! After going back and forth with Bobby and Mom, we decided it would be OK for me to go as long as I didn't do any walking. They let me out as close as they could and we took a hayride over to the pumpkin patch. (I had 2 contractions and I didn't say a word to anyone!) Wiley LOVED the tractor that was pulling us, and Gracie was all about seeing the baby cows. We all picked a pumpkin, Gracie even picked one for Gage! We had funnel cake, looked and picked out a pretty sunflower, and enjoyed being together as a family! As Gracie told us when we got in the van, "This was GREAT!"

Best Birthday Yet!

Monday we celebrated my 25th birthday. I had the best day. Bobby surprised me and took the day off. He got it cleared for me to go somewhere and SIT besides our house for a little bit. We went to the park and had a picnic lunch and the kids played. A couple of hours later Mom came and brought me a cookie cake (as she does every single year) and she made cupcakes with the kids for me which was very fun! We grilled out, opened presents and had a really good time! Gracie sang Happy Birthday to me, which was the cutest thing in the world! Mom took Gracie and Wiley shopping the week before to pick out my presents. I am so lucky to have a great Husband and Mom, and 2 wonderful kids! They made it a perfect day, I still can't believe I am 25, with almost 3 kids and driving a mini van!!

Pictures from our Cookout

Since my Grandparents are leaving tomorrow we had a cookout tonight. We sat on the deck, and basically let the kids entertain us. We had a great week, and can't wait until they come back next month!

Gracie Talk

These are a few of the funny things that have come out of Gracies mouth the last couple of days...

Bobby and I were discussing what paint finish to get for the bathroom, before he left he said "I'll call if I have any questions about what I'm getting", to which Grace replied while waving her hands infront of her: "Diddy, have any questions, jus' call ME!"

Wiley took a nap in Gracies bed while his room was being painted, when he woke up Gracie said to him : "Mornin' YiYi, sleep good in MY bed buddy?"

Sitting in the living room, trying to avoid a nap, Gracie put her hand up to her ear and said "I hear Maggie and Minnie Mouse" I said, "What did they say Gracie?" She replied whispering "CiCi, come see me!"

While eating breakfast, Wiley threw a spoon and it landed in Gracies cereal spilling everything. It was a big mess! Gracie said "NiNi, YiYi is a PAIN IN THE BUTT!"

The funniest thing she says 200 times a day "YES I DO!" (while shaking her body in a sassy fashion)

The sweetest thing I have ever seen...Gracie hugs Wiley all the time and gives him a kiss, today Wiley walked up to her and hugged and kissed her! It was adorable!

We were discussing a "hospital plan" one night, and Bobby told Gracie her and Wiley were staying with NiNi of course while we went to get baby Gage, Gracie told Mom, "NiNi, we need a lot of cheese pizza for Baby Gage!"

Gracie and the goats...

Gracie is a VERY picky eater, but for some reason when she is up at the barn with the goats, she eats anything! She takes Maggie and Minnie Mouse bread everyday and she has a slice too! She even ate the "yucky" honey wheat bread with "stuff" in it! She will sit in the barn with the goats and while they eat theirs, she eats hers! We're beginning to think she is a goat too!

Wiley and the Pink Potty...

This picture just cracks me up everytime I look at it, Wiley kept insisting on sitting on the potty. How nice would it be to have him potty trained before Gage gets here?! I asked him if he needed to pee pee and he said "UH HUH!" so we put him on Gracies pink potty, which his Daddy just loved. Now he has to sit on it at least ten times a day. He has even peed in it one time!! He is getting a more boy-friendly potty, don't worry. My kids keep me laughing all day, thank goodness for them!

Cooking with Gracie and Nanny

Nanny made another pie with Gracie, they made a strawberry cobbler. Gracie ate most of the strawberries before they cooked it. I love watching them spend time together, it reminds me of when I was little, I loved doing stuff with her too. I pray I am as good of a Mom and Grandmother as my Mom and Nanny are! Gracie and Wiley spent the rest of the day with Nanny and Mom shopping, and even did a little shopping for my Birthday Monday!

More painting!

Bobby started on the boys new room this week, it looks really good. Thankfully Bobby decided to wait until him and Mom were off all week to do it! He still has to paint the boys beds (if we can agree on a color) and get Gracie a new bed, a pink bed she says! I bet he wishes me and Gracie never looked at a Pottery Barn Kids magazine!
