A Morning at the Doctors Office

This morning, the kids had to go to the doctor. They all 3 had to get shots so I have REALLY been looking forward to it! Gracie did awesome, she weighed 22 pounds and didn't fuss a bit when she had her finger pricked or when she got her shot. She was such a big girl. Wiley had his 18 month checkup and he weighed 24 pounds, and he fussed from the second he was weighed until we left! Baby Gage weighed 10 pounds and was almost 23 inches long. Gracie was so funny, she got a blanket out of my bag and covered herself up and said to my Mom, "Nini I don't have any clothes on!" I was so proud of her, she sat next to the boys while they had their shots and told them "It's OK!" The kids are growing so fast, I wish they would slow it down a little!
The kids have been so funny the last few days. Here are a few of the cute things they have done or said...

Gracie was riding a 4-Wheeler in the house and I took my foot and pushed her out of they way, big mistake. She said "Mama, you go to timeout, we don't push!" I said "Grace I was just moving you out of my way." I bent down and kissed her and she took her arm and wiped my kiss off and said "Don't kiss me, go to timeout for PUSHING!" So cute...

We were watching the inauguration Tuesday and every time Obama or Bush would wave, Wiley would run in front of the TV and stand there waving and smiling until they stopped, like they were waving at him. I hope we don't have a future politician on our hands!

Gracie had a Boo-Boo on her finger and she asked her Daddy to kiss it and he asked her what was wrong with it, she said "I don't know, its achy." I have no idea where she has heard achy!

I am addicted to The Bachelor, when it was on this past Monday I was complaining to Bobby how this one girl needed to leave, Grace said "Pack your bag, girl!"

Some of Gracie's sayings I love...
*I Wanna Holds You. (Mostly at bedtime)
*Is SpongeBob on now YET?
*Where'd his little hands go? (When Gage has a sleeper on that covers his hands)
*I wanna say Hi to Baby Gage
*Dora and Boots went off AGAIN!
*Hi Little Gage
*Hey Handsome YiYi (Wiley)
*I'm Thinkin'
*YiYi pushed buttons (when Wiley turns the TV off or changes channels)
*I'm Snuggle Soft
*Gracie do it
*I wanna DANCE

Some of Wiley's I love...
*Mama's Baby
*HOLDS!

Wiley is much more of a face maker than he is a talker!

SNOW DAY!!

Today we FINALLY got the much deserved snow we have been hoping for! The kids loved it! We played, made snow angels, threw snowballs at each other, made a snowman and caught snowflakes with our tongue! Gracie took a bite out of our poor snowman, "Pearl"! She also gave him a kiss. Leave it to us Binghams to have a Tennessee Snowman with a Bass Pro Shops hat!! We came in and had Hot Chocolate with marshmallows and chocolate chip cookies to warm up, until Bobby decided to bring a snowball in the house and throw it at me! The money we spent on snowsuits back in October paid off.

Sweet Baby

My Wednesday!

Our Wednesday morning was very fun. I made the kids Muffins and we had Hot Chocolate to go with them. They both enjoyed it very much.

After Breakfast, things got busy. I was feeding Gage, and the kids were playing, then I didn't hear them so I went down the hall to see what was going on. Gracie was pouring Eucerin lotion onto Wileys head and boy was it covered, she had already drenched herself in it, and when she saw me she said she was "washing their hair"! I put them straight into the bath tub and about an hour later, got the lotion washed out. It took FOREVER to get their hair clean, however it IS a funny memory...

Too Cute

Dolka Dots...

Gracie and I were looking at gymboree.com, gap.com, and ralphlauren.com at some spring/summer clothes. Gracie is VERY into her clothes and likes to help pick them out. I showed her a very cute shirt, and she said "Nope, not Dolka Dots". I buy just about anything with "dolka dots" for Gracie, can you tell?

Potty Talk

Wiley is starting to show interest in using the potty. We ask him often, and he tells us he has to go to the potty, and he does. Usually when either child has to potty, the other wants to go as well. Sometimes Wiley will "stand" and TRY to pee in the potty, which doesn't work out too well bless his heart. Gracie then tried to "stand" and pee in the potty, which didn't work very well either. Then it turns into a game in which they think its funny I am down in the floor cleaning up pee where Wiley missed. I was explaining to Gracie that she was a little girl and little girls sit on the potty, and of course she asked "Why?" which has become a regular word out of her lately. Bobby got in on the conversation and he had his own take...

Bobby: "See, Bug, theres two ways to use the potty, either you are a "pointer" or you are a "sitter", boys are "pointers", like Wiley. You are a little girl so you are a "sitter" Right now, Wiley is going to be a "sitter" but before too long he will be a "pointer" and that's how it works."

The kids have started saying they HAVE to go potty when it is bedtime. This is a very convenient attempt to prolong bedtime a little longer. We don't like to tell them "No, you don't have to go to the bathroom, go to bed" so we let them try before we put them to sleep, read a book, say our prayers, and do our bedtime routines. Last night, Bobby took Gracie while I was in Wileys room and she sat there and sat there, her and Bobby carried on a conversation, and he said "Grace do you need to pee?" She said "Nope, FALSE ALARM!" How funny is that?

Little Girl with a Big Heart!

This evening we had to go to Knoxville for a few things, one being picking up diapers/wipes etc. from Babies R Us. I told Gracie and Wiley they could pick something out since they had been so good. Wiley chose something CARS of course, CARS megablocks I believe, and Gage got a Baby Gund activity puppy. Gracie picked up a book that she was a little too old for, and I said "Gracie why don't you pick something else, something that you would have more fun with, like a new Dora DVD or maybe a Princess blanket, there is a really cool Mickey and Minnie night light for your bathroom too." She looked at me and said, "No Momma, I want this book to read to the boys." How sweet is that, she is so kind hearted she wasn't thinking of herself at all! Of course we got the book and I went and picked her out a cute Minnie Mouse shirt and a pair of pajamas, and a new DVD for the van. What a sweetheart she is!

We're Going on Vacation!!

Bobby and I have decided to take the kids and my Mom (Lord knows it would NOT be a vacation if Bobby and I didn't have her help!)on vacation the 2ND week in May. We are going to spend the first half of our trip at Disney World and stay at the Pop Century Resort. We are also going to Sea World. Then from Disney World, we are heading to Disney's Vero Beach Resort and relax from going to the 4 theme parks by the ocean! Gracie is VERY excited to be going. We are very excited that we have the opportunity to take everybody for what we know will be a great and memorable trip! Let the countdown begin!

TaDoodles...

Mom bought the kids a TaDoodle station, the one that sings. While Bobby was gone to pick something up to eat, I was playing with the kids drawing zig-zags and whatever it was telling us to draw. I put it up when Bobby got home so we could eat, and Gracie said "Daddy, get my CockADoodleDoos pretty please!!" The rest of the night we played with it and kept asking her what she was playing with. It was hilarious! Bobby and I couldn't quit laughing about it. Just thought it was cute she called her TaDoodles, "CockADoodleDoos"!

If you know Bobby, you know you rarely see him without a dip in and a spit bottle in his hand. I know, its gross, I have lost count of how many times I have had to clean up where the kids have knocked his spit cup over. He finally learned his lesson and keeps a lid on it now! Anyway, him and Gracie were laying on the couch and he was dipping. As he was putting the lid back on his bottle, Gracie said "WAIT Daddy, I need to spit TOO!"

Surprise!!!

We decided to pack up and take a trip to North Carolina to surprise some of our family that we haven't seen in awhile. Very brave of us, but the kids did great, I was very happy with how they handled it! We also didn't tell my Grandparents we were coming and boy were they surprised to see us sitting in the living room when they got back home! We got to see Uncle David, who has cows and goats. Gracie and Wiley got to run in the field and pet the goats, and they loved it! Gracie is a little farm girl anyway. She had to pet all of the goats twice. We also got to see our cousin Terra. Gracie calls her "Tetta" and just thinks the world of her. They played for several hours, and then we took everybody out to eat at their favorite seafood resturaunt, Fishermans Quarters. We had a wonderful day and were happy that we could make their day!

The Flyboat

One of Gracies absolute favorite things to do is watch The Wonder Pets. Mom got her a Flyboat of her own for Christmas. She wanted Wiley to get in with her, and then me, and then her Daddy. We were crammed in that tiny thing! It was so funny to watch her use her imagination the way she did. We went on an adventure and saved a baby Turtle. Before the flyboat took off she asked us "You ready guys?"

Christmas Morning with Nini, Nanny and Haul

As soon as we finished opening presents Christmas morning, we were ready for round two! My Mom and Grandparents came up as soon as they got ready to see the kids and bring them gifts. Mom brought in 2 HUGE Santa sack gift bags, one was a CARS bag for Wiley and one was a Disney Princess bag for Gracie. It was unreal what all we had in our living room. Gracie even changed into new pajamas in the middle of it. We also got our stockings Santa left at Nini's house for the 5 of us. Santa was busy! Me and the kids did a fun thing for Mom this year for Christmas, RedEnvelope had a set of 4 canvases that came with paint to make handprints on, each of my kids did a handprint and together we painted my Moms hand to go on a canvas. It turned out really neat, and of course she loved it so thats all that mattered! She does so much for us throughout the year, Bobby and I love to get her something meaningful every year. We had so much fun opening presents, laughing, eating and making candy! Bobby, Haul and Wiley mostly enjoyed eating the candy!! Most importantly we had another Christmas together full of great memories!
