We stayed outside just about all afternoon, and the kids played basketball with their Daddy. Gracie ran in the house and told me, while I was feeding Gage, that Wiley needed a little more range. Wonder who she heard that from! She is a girly girl but I think basketball is in her future! Check out her jumpshot! Wiley, he will do it all I am thinking (except soccer, that word isn't allowed in our house!!)

Gage is 3 Months!

Yesterday, Gage Carson was 3 months old! We can't believe he is already 3 months old, it seems like yesterday I was sitting on the couch hoping and praying he was going to be OK, scared crazy something would happen to the two of us! But he is here, healthy, and happy! Gage is such a happy baby, he loves to be talked to and he loves to be held ALL the time! His favorite person in the world is Gracie. He sees her and he flashes the biggest smile, and he tries to talk to her as she is talking to him. Those two are going to be very close! She is his second Mommy, no doubt!

The kids were sitting on the couch with my Mom today and I looked over and they had their little hands all stacked up. I just thought it was so sweet, they really love each other!

Look-a-Likes

Gracie gave Bobby a look this morning and he told her "You look just exactly like your Mom." She said, "No, I look like Gracie Daddy!"

There was a Cars MagnaDoodle laying in the floor as you go into the dining room, right in the middle of the doorway. Wiley and Bobby kept going to the kitchen, and the bathroom, and kept stepping over this toy. I wondered how many times could 2 people step over something until they picked it up. Finally Gracie went into the kitchen and her first trip by it, she reached down and moved it. Like Father, Like Son!!!!

Gracie Talk

These are a couple of funny things Gracie has said this week so far...

My Nanny made a comment about being nervous after one of the kids fell while playing, and Gracie said "Nanny, I'm a nervous wreck!"

While Bobby was watching some silly show on Animal Planet, something about animals with two of something, he said Gracie look at that one eyed pig, and she said "No, I wanna look at 2 eyed pigs." She IS my child!

Yesterday I was getting ready to fix lunch and Gracie got her stool and reached for a can of tuna. I asked her what she wanted to eat, and she said "I want a big bowl of Nuna."

If Gracie is asked to do something she doesn't want to, she will say "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah." Wiley has picked up on that one now and he says it too.

Gracie asked Bobby to read a book to her last night, the lights were already out and he asked her if she would read it to him, and she said "Daddy, I can't see, it's dark." Hello Daddy, what were you thinking!

Daddy's Girl

I love these pictures of Gracie and her Dad. The last one, she had just told Bobby he looked pretty in his pink shirt. Nothing better than watching the ballgame on Valentine's Day with your Daddy!

Valentine's Day Scavenger Hunt!

We got up early this morning for a scavenger hunt surprise for Gracie and Wiley. We had so much fun! I had our dining room table decorated and that is where their first clue was. It said....

1. Meeska Mooska Mickey Mouse! See what's hiding behind the HOUSE!

We had Inflatable Mickey Mouse kites in the back waiting for them to find, and they were so excited to find the next clue which read...

2. Donald and Daisy Duck splashing in the tub, these are for you, SCRUB, SCRUB, SCRUB!

Their treasure this time was a step stool each, a new CARS and Cinderella toothbrush, and washcloths. Onto the next clue...

3. I am where you close your eyes, see if you can find a Disney SURPRISE!

In their rooms were new Mickey and Minnie Jammies, a storybook Mickey Mouse Clubhouse DVD, and a big book of Disney Bedtime Stories. Next clue...

4. Now lets find something yummy to eat, Cinderella is waiting to cook you a TREAT!

Bobby brought in Gracie's Princess kitchen, and she loved it! Inside the oven part for Wiley, I had made blueberry muffins for him since the kitchen might not be his idea of fun!

5. Mickey, Minnie, Pluto too, see whats waiting on the deck for YOU!

They LOVED their Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Patio Set. By this point it was raining a little so we brought the chairs in for them to play with.

We had so much fun watching them run around finding stuff, they were screaming their heads off! We did a Disney themed Scavenger Hunt since we are headed to Disney World. Since Gage was too little for the hunt, he had his own special surprise. He got 4 new outfits, an activity toy and a special book for later on. He was all smiles though as you can see! If you notice on my table, there is a bouquet of flowers. Bobby had them sent to me Friday while he was at work. What is so thoughtful and sweet about them was that he had 4 different kinds of flowers mixed in. The pink flowers represent Gracie, the blue/purple represent Wiley, the green represent Gage, and the red represent him! I just thought that was very sweet of him to come up with! He also had the kids a balloon each attached to the vase! Happy Valentine's Day!

Kiss Jars

For the last few days, me and the kids have been working on our Valentines Day presents for family and friends. We finally finished our "Kiss Jars" today and they turned out very cute, I think! We used Hershey's Kisses, Hugs, and Teddy Grahams for our "Bear Hugs" Jars. We went through a lot of candy, Gracie and Wiley would put a couple of kisses in a jar, and then eat a couple! I just love Valentine's Day and all of the cute little crafts I can do with my kids!
