Why Jon and Kate?!

As I am getting all of our beach pictures ready to post, and working on a post about our weekend in North Carolina, I was watching the season premiere of Jon and Kate Plus Eight and to be honest I feel betrayed by them! How awful is that, its not like they did it to me or anything. Last nights episode just made me mad. I just don't get it. Anyway, back to blogging and editing pictures about my real-life family!

We spent our last day at Magic Kingdom and played all day. I decided to do the photo pass because I was spending so much time taking pictures I wasn't getting to see every little expression on the kids faces so I ordered it when we got back home and I can't wait to show all the pictures that they took! They really got some good ones of Wiley playing with Pluto and of Gracie and the princesses that are just great. We had such a good time at Disney we decided to go back next year around March hoping it won't be as hot or crowded and we are really looking forward to it! While we were there it was at least 95 everyday. It was so hot!
We finally found Daisy in her normal outfit and she signed to Grace that she loved her bow (made by me by the way!)

Pluto went over and kissed Gage while he was sleeping, I thought that was sweet!

Gage loved the characters, he is such a pleasant baby!

Mom wanted her picture with Mickey, Disney World brings out the child in everyone. Gracie told her to say CHEESE IT!

Gracie informed us that "Pluto was too big for that house!"

It was 95 everyday, we bought 2 of these fans that mists water on you. They saved us for sure. Gracie thought it was fun to spray us with it, and we didn't mind at all!

Whales, Dolphins and Seals, Oh My!

Our fifth day in Florida we decided to take a break from Disney and head over to SeaWorld. I love it here! The kids had a great time. It is so tropical and the experiences with the animals are amazing and one in a million. I made reservations for Dine With Shamu, and I am so glad that we did this. We got to see behind the scenes of what the trainers day is like with the whales. I have always been interested in Marine Biology and the behavior of killer whales and dolphins. While we were eating lunch, the trainer had two whales they were playing around with. The relationship between the whales and their trainers really is amazing. Kayla the whale stayed right in front of our table and even sprayed the kids with water which they loved. Wiley even tried and succeeded to throw one of his Crocs across the ropes next to the water. Also at SeaWorld, we got to feed seals/sea lions, got to pet and play with the dolphins, and even pet a few sting rays. We went to the Clydesdale Hamlet barn and walked through it, and saw several horses. Gracie wanted to pet one, so we did that as well. She is HORSE CRAZY! She reminds me so much of myself. She got a stuffed Clydesdale horse there and has not let it out of her sight since. We had a fun day at SeaWorld with all of the animals, got soaked on the Journey to Atlantis (well me and Bobby) saw sharks, rode a few kiddie rides, the kids got their face painted, and watched a couple of shows. A very fun place, it also helps if you like Jimmy Buffet, they play a lot of him there, which is fine with me!

Gracie was amazed at how big this whale was

Sitting at our table, I didn't even have to zoom in, kinda scary!

Animal Kingdom

Day 4 at Disney, we headed to Animal Kingdom. We had reservations at Tusker House for Donald's Safari breakfast which was great! It was a fun breakfast with really good food. Here's the thing, I was SICK, I was running a fever, congested, achy (I really thought I had the swine flu since the news people were talking about a case in Florida and they weren't sure if she had been on Disney property or not) After being checked out, and getting a dose of Tylenol and sudafed, I toughed it out, and we went on the safari, rode the Dinosaurs, took a walk on the exploration trail, watched the Jammin' Jungle Parade and saw many animals. I thought I was going to die, I felt horrible, but who has time for that when you are on vacation?
